14 Already...

Our handsome 14 year old grandson, Drew. Where in the world does the time go?
Drew, I know your mom is looking down from heaven on you and must be so proud of the young man you have become. I pray you will always keep your positive outlook and continue to be your "unique self".

Blessings...

Being baptized and committing your life to God is one of the most beautiful and biggest steps you take in life. Watching your grandchild be baptized is the biggest blessing you can receive as a grandparent.

We are so proud of you, Cassidy, for making this decision to follow your Lord and let him guide you in your steps for the future. You are a beautiful young lady, inside and out, and I know with God's blessing you will go far in your life. Gram and Pop both love you so very much and are so proud of you.

Time Flies...

Time goes by so quickly I can hardly keep up. Once I was retired I thought I would have all the time in the world to do the things I love but each day goes so quick and the next one is here and gone before I know it too.

Christmas was wonderful this past year. As I do every year, I said our Christmas was going to be lots smaller this year. BUT, just like every year, that didn't happen. With six grandchildren you just can't help it. Anyway, I just love to buy and give to others...it makes my heart happy. So I do it. Who cares anyway, I'm the one who has to pay for it.

This is a picture of four of the grandchildren this year. The other two happened to be at their other grandma's house when I took this.

Turning 13...

Turning 13 is a HUGE deal and for her birthday this year Cassidy wanted to have a make-up party. We invited the neighborhood Mary Kay lady to come and do make-up for all the girls. They also had their nails done by all the older girls there and they all had a great time.

What a great party for a 13 year old!! Fun, fun.

Turning One...

Sweet little Anna Grace turned one today and like every other one year old, at first she wasn't too sure about this big cake sitting in front of her. It didn't take long though for her to realize she could eat this thing and it was GOOD.

Anna's Toy Box...

I can hardly believe Anna Grace is turning one already. Seems just the other day Chris walked out of the operating room with her in his arms and took her to the nursery for all of us to goo-goo over.

David (Pop) has made each of the grandkids a toy box when they turned one year old and this is the one he did for Anna. I think he did a great job on it. I designed the letters for him on my Silhouette machine and he even cut those out by hand and sanded them down. He put lots of work into this project for our newest granddaughter.

Where'd He Get His Talent...

Not sure where Drew got any musical talent from, but he sure didn't get it from our side of the family. As far as I know, no one in our family has ever played any type of instrument.

We are proud of you, Drew, for pursuing your talent.
